About Amisewaka DLCC

Amisewaka-DLCC is an ACF vocational and life-skills education program based in North Bali, providing fully funded hospitality, culinary, and life-skills training to young people from economically disadvantaged and rural backgrounds. To date, the program has graduated 277 students with an approximate 95% employment success rate across leading hotels, restaurants, cruise ships, and international markets (Japan and Europe).

Current Focus: Raising funds for a dedicated student dormitory facility to allow students from remote areas of Bali to access education and employment opportunities that would otherwise remain out of reach.

The Role

The ACF is seeking a dynamic, entrepreneurial, and proactive Fundraising Coordinator to join our team in Bali. This role is focused entirely on relationship-driven fundraising, donor development, and sponsorship acquisition for the immediate Amisewaka DLCC Dormitory Campaign, as well as broader program support. The successful candidate will work closely with Bali’s hospitality and tourism industry to secure both financial backing and vital in-kind support.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Campaign Strategy & Execution
  1. Develop, execute, and continuously analyse targeted fundraising strategies for the Dormitory Project and broader program expansion.
  2. Prepare compelling campaign materials, concept notes, proposals, and progress reports.
  3. Manage workloads independently, meet deadlines without supervision, and adjust strategies based on campaign performance.
  1. Donor Cultivation & Partnerships
  1. Identify, cultivate, solicit, and maintain strong relationships with potential major donors, corporate CSR partners, foundations, and philanthropic networks.
  2. Build strategic partnerships with Bali’s hospitality and tourism operators (hotels, resorts, restaurants, wellness brands) to develop guest donation initiatives and corporate sponsorships.
  3. Secure sponsorships for student scholarships, dormitory construction, and ongoing operational costs.
  1. In-Kind Procurement

Secure critical financial and in-kind sponsorships, including construction materials, furniture, fittings, beds/mattresses, linens, kitchen/hospitality equipment, technology/internet infrastructure, and food/beverage supplies.

  1. Events, Marketing & Communications
  1. Organize high-impact fundraising events, donor experiences, and awareness sessions.
  2. Collaborate with the ACF team on marketing campaigns, donor communications, and impact reporting.
  3. Serve as an articulate spokesperson, using public speaking and networking skills to communicate the value of education to diverse stakeholders.
  1. Administration & Compliance
  1. Maintain detailed, accurate records of donor interactions and campaign progress using donor management databases.
  2. Provide regular status and milestone updates to internal and external stakeholders.
  3. Ensure all fundraising activities comply with regulations, ethical standards, and basic nonprofit financial management principles.

Requirements & Qualifications

Experience & Education

  1. Indonesian citizen
  2. 3 to 5 years of experience in fundraising, high-end hospitality sales, corporate sponsorship acquisition, or NGO management.
  3. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding fundraising or sales goals.
  4. Deep understanding of fundraising principles, best practices, and basic nonprofit financial management.

Skills & Competencies

  1. Networking: An existing network within the Bali hospitality, tourism, or expat business sectors is highly advantageous.
  2. Communication: Exceptional written, verbal, negotiation, and public speaking in in Indonesian and English.
  3. Proposal Writing: Strong ability to develop clear, compelling, and well-positioned submissions (concept notes and full proposals).
  4. Technical: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience working with donor management software/databases.
  5. Attributes: Self-directed, highly organized, target-driven, and attentive to detail. Ability to proactively identify opportunities.
