At Amisewaka-DLCC, we aim to provide enriching experiences for the youth in our community, particularly in North Bali. With this vision in mind, we were delighted to host a cooking class event for 25 students from SMA N 2 Tejakula, a prominent senior high school in the region. This class also served as an opportunity for us to introduce DLCC to them as part of our student recruitment program.
Under the guidance of our chef Dewa Ayu, they learned the basic steps in making delicious pizzas. From dough preparation to adding the final toppings, each step was approached with meticulous care and genuine enthusiasm.
Beyond learning cooking skills, the class created an environment of collaboration and socialization, where students could learn to work together as a team, exchange creative ideas, and experience the joy of creating something with their own hands.
They not only learned how to make pizza with simple ingredients and tools but also took home valuable experiences. But the best bit was in the tasting – they were all very happy as their pizzas emerged perfectly from the oven, ready to be eaten!
We hope to host further “open house” events at Amisewaka-DLCC, extending this enriching opportunity to aspiring learners eager to embrace culinary excellence.
