Amisewaka – DLCC held a parent meeting to build a stronger bridge between the school and student families.
The primary goal of the meeting was to establish effective communication between parents and the campus and identify potential issues students might face during on-the-job training. This is done by providing valuable information about campus programs and policies, providing a space for parental input and feedback, and discussing ways to reinforce positive values at home and on campus.
The event was attended by parents and guardians of students in the second semester of the 2023/2024 academic year. At the meeting, several key topics were discussed, including student placement after training interviews, training facilities, and the importance of parental moral support.
The parents expressed their desire to receive regular progress updates on their children’s progress in the industry and hoped their children would be able to gain permanent employment after completing their on-the-job training.
This meeting was a key step in Amisewaka – DLCC’s commitment to student success. With good communication and full support from parents, students will be better prepared to face challenges and achieve success in the professional world.
