Ary is not an ordinary young man. Behind his warm and innocent smile lies a long and difficult journey filled with struggle and determination. Born into a family with limited income, he faced the painful reality that attending college after high school seemed impossible. Though loving and supportive, his parents simply could not afford it.
The Amisewaka – DLCC (“DLCC”) team met Ary in early 2023, and he, along with 12 other students, received a scholarship thanks to the generosity of our donors.
At the start of his studies at DLCC, he found it challenging to keep up. He needed more time than others to grasp the lessons. He began to feel left behind, unsure of himself, and at times considered quitting.
Today, we are proud to share that before even graduating from DLCC, Ary received his first job offer. This is a significant achievement and a strong reminder: when hope is given a chance, it can flourish and illuminate the path ahead.
We believe there are many more young people like Ary, full of dreams but constrained by their circumstances. With your support, we can continue to help them forge a better future.
