We’re thrilled to announce our latest enrollment for new students to join our 2024 – 2025 academic year at Amisewaka – DLCC had a massive response. We had 115 young people apply to join our program, of which 98 students are now part of this year’s curriculum.
They went through a rigorous three-stage selection process involving administrative checks, written tests, interviews, and even home visits, and we’re delighted so many of them can join us. Sadly, some applicants had to drop out because family economic pressures forced them to work, a reminder of the realities of life in this part of Bali.
From June 4 – 18, our new wave of talented individuals took part in a comprehensive orientation program, getting acclimated to the campus environment and forging new bonds. They’ve received their uniforms, backpacks, and all the necessary school supplies to fully embrace their culinary education, which officially kicks off on June 24th.
The program consists of eight courses: Culinary, Permaculture, English, Computer Basics, Food & Beverage Services, Professional Behavior Education, Gamelan, and Balinese Dance.
We humbly open our doors to those who would like to support our students and their learning journey at Amisewaka – DLCC. Your support not only provides them with education but also hope and opportunities to change their futures.
