Life at Amisewaka – DLCC tasted particularly sweet when we hosted our two-day Ice Cream Festival!
The festival attracted lots of visitors from across all age groups – from young children to teenagers, adults, and the elderly – eager to try the 10 flavors of ice cream made by Leeba Laviolette, that included milk-based, coconut milk-based, and fruit-based (sorbet) varieties. Popsicles were also on offer, along with15 different types of cakes.
There were also products from small local entrepreneurs on sale, as well as traditional Balinese costumes, incense sticks and basic necessity packages (rice, oil, sugar, and eggs), that proved particularly popular. Our kitchen and café Rambutan team were equally busy, happily serving some of our delicious food and drinks to the guests.
To add to the fantastic atmosphere, guests were treated to live music from singer Robi Navicula and some captivating dance performances by KDA.
A big thank you to chef Leeba for creating such amazing ice creams and helping to create such a ‘cool’ event!
