At Amisewaka-DLCC we believe in taking a holistic approach to high-quality education for our students. To achieve this, we invited all staff and management at Amisewaka-DLCC to participate in psychology training on Friday, 5 May, 2023, with Dewa Gede Firstia Wirabrata, M.Psi, Psychology (Master of Psychology), a psychologist cum lecturer at UNDIKSHA (one of the largest universities in Bali).
In order to achieve consistent results, this training will form part of our ongoing staff development program. We believe that thiswill equip all staff and management with the capacity to adopt a psychologically-informed approach with the students during their enrolment, on-campus studies, and the on-the-job training programs they will participate in.
When addressing the issue of self-development for a globalized society, the presenter emphasized the concept of resiliency.
Being resilient, which is the ability to bounce back from adversity and failure, is one of the essential skills required to succeed in life. This training will help staff and management to develop their own resiliency, so that they can lead students by example and motivate them to do the same.
In addition to this skill development, Amisewaka-DLCC’s upcoming training program will focus on interview techniques for student recruitment and teaching, further enhancing our strategy in giving students a well-rounded experience with the personalized attention they deserve.
