Bali Barista Centre and Lazumba Coffee donate coffee machine to Amisewaka
Many organizations are powered by coffee, and Amisewaka-DLCC’s Café Rambutan is no different. Ever since opening our doors, we have been in desperate need for a functional espresso machine so we can serve up great coffee.
The good news is that we’ve now resolved that and more. Two of our staff members, Ketut Sriawan and Putu Widiantara, took up training in brewing at the Bali Barista Centre (BBC) in May. By July, Lazumba Coffee and BBC loaned us a coffee machine and industrial grinder.
BCC and Lazumba Coffee have since gone one step further and agreed to provide free training every month to Amisewaka students as well, starting with our 2023 graduates who are yet to find employment. They have also committed to further empowering them by having them placed at cafés and restaurants.
We are extremely grateful to BCC and Lazumba Coffee for this massive contribution to our mission.
Because of their support, Café Rambutan now offers patrons gourmet coffee, brewed using the finest Arabica beans from Indonesia and around the world, roasted and blended to perfection. If you ever find yourself in Desa Les, make sure to grab yourself a steaming cup of espresso with us!
We would like to thank Pak Cam and his staff for the support and contributions to Amisewaka-DLCC and Café Rambutan.
