Amisewaka – Desa Les Community Center has been featured in a media article not just for the work it is doing to transform the lives of young people living in and around Les, but also as a holiday destination for those looking to get off the beaten track.
Coconuts Bali, a travel website, listed the center as one of five places to visit for tourists who want to avoid padat merayap (dense, creeping) roads and looking for somewhere they can support local communities.
The article highlights the center’s work in boosting confidence and helping to empower young people in the area to find jobs, as well as the many self-sustaining architectural features that make Amisewaka – DLCC so special, like our permaculture roof gardens.
