We were delighted to be able to announce the names of the first batch of new students that will be joining the Amisewaka-DLCC program for’ 2023-2024. The qualifying students received their invitation letters at an enrollment event held at the center on May 8, 2023, when they also got measured for their new uniforms.
The day’s highlight was undoubtedly the palpable enthusiasm and pride of the students after learning they had been selected for the program, after making it through the tight selection process. The new students will now have a chance to learn the valuable skills that form part of the center’s curriculum and a chance to develop themselves and pursue their dreams.
The Amisewaka-DLCC team provides all the essential needs for the students, including uniforms, safety shoes for practical work in the kitchen, slippers for gardening, rucksacks, and other stationery, all free of charge. In addition, they will receive free daily meals on campus.
Congratulations to all the students who passed the rigorous enrolment phase, and we look forward to helping them on their road to success.
